Ivonne Mouser LPC

I received my Master of Science in Counseling degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2004. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with many years of experience working with adults, youth, and children of all ages. I’ve also worked in the domestic violence field for many years. I have had the opportunity to help sexual abuse survivors find healing from their trauma.

I use different approaches when working with clients, being aware that everyone comes with different needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy and Play therapy are on top of my list.

I believe in the connection of spirit, mind and body and encourage clients to work on all three. Techniques and tools can be effective but most importantly I thrive to provide a safe and compassionate environment in which individuals can process feelings, set healthy goals, and gain the freedom to live the life they want. I’m bilingual and I can also provide faith-based counseling for anyone who seeks it.

Three years ago, after many years of serving on the mission field in Southern Mexico, my family moved back to the States. When I’m not working, I enjoy meeting up with friends, coffee, and spending time with my husband and five children.
