Therapy Approaches
Our therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based and research-informed approaches and tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. All of our therapists practice trauma-informed care, meaning we prioritize emotional safety, collaboration, and respect for each client’s experiences when using these approaches.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. CBT is widely used to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.
EMDR – Recent Events Protocol
A structured approach designed to help process and reduce distress connected to recent traumatic experiences. This approach can help the brain process overwhelming events so that they feel less emotionally intense.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Focuses on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients manage intense emotions and improve relationships.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
A goal-oriented approach that focuses on strengths and practical solutions rather than dwelling on problems. This method helps clients identify what is already working and build on those successes.

Motivational Interviewing
A collaborative approach that helps individuals strengthen motivation and commitment to positive change, often used when clients feel stuck or uncertain about next steps.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
An evidence-based therapy designed specifically to help children and adolescents process traumatic experiences while developing healthy coping skills.

Gottman Method Couples Therapy
A research-based approach that helps couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Helps clients understand different “parts” of themselves and develop greater self-compassion and emotional balance.

Attachment-Focused Therapy
Explores how early relationships influence emotional patterns, connection, and security in adult relationships.

Narrative Therapy
Helps clients explore personal stories, identity, and meaning-making, particularly after significant life experiences or family discoveries.

Family Systems Therapy
Examines how family dynamics and relationships influence individual behaviors and emotional well-being.

Play Therapy & Sand Tray Therapy
